Assistant Professor

Interactive Media Design Lab

(nickname: Sid) – is an Assistant Professor at the Interactive Media Design (IMD) Lab, Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Japan.

He received his B.S. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) in the Philippines in 2016 and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering from NAIST in 2020 and 2023, respectively. He then worked as a researcher at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) under the Internet of Things Lab, mainly working on a smart traffic solution using computer vision for edge devices named TrafficEZ.
